This month's goal is a repeat of last months. I made some progress on the quilt, but it hasn't gotten too far past the basting stage yet. I ditch quilted all the sashing - but then I stalled out trying to decide what design to quilt within the blocks and on the sashing.
So, I thought some more and now I have a plan for the quilt - Yay!
I got this quilt as a kit from Connecting Threads. I made a few changes which I'll detail when I show the completed quilt - Hopefully by month's end!
Happy Quilting! (And wish me luck finishing!!)Tweet Visit crafTraditions's profile on Pinterest.
Mary is a local quilting friend who loves to piece, but gets bogged down during quilting. These are 2 of the quilts I machine quited for her this spring :)
Working with local schools has been very fun and the students are pushing me to design ever more interesting layouts from simple subunits. Take a look at the third quilt I helped to make this year!
Memory quilts aren't always cute and cuddly, this t-shirt quilt is all about hard rock and good times!
A local Mom asked me to turn her children's baby outfits into a bed-sized quilt and I happily agreed!
A very sentimental Mom asked me to make a bed-sized quilt from her children's baby clothes, and this is going to be one beautiful memory quilt!
